A state-of-the-art, open concept, micro-teaching brewery, tasting room and microbiology laboratory will provide brewing science and hospitality management students a hands-on learning environment.

The Brewing Lab

The Brewing Science Laboratory will feature a state-of-the-art, open concept, micro-teaching brewery, tasting room and microbiology laboratory to provide brewing science and hospitality management students opportunities to hone their craft while interacting with a fully functional commercial brewing system.

The Science of Brewing In the laboratory, students will receive training on the scientific principles of the craft and get their hands on commercial beer production equipment. They will gain experience in facility operation, innovative production methods and quality control while honing the sensory profile of every bottle produced. This holistic training will equip students for jobs in the booming craft brewing industry.

Floor to ceiling glass windows in the micro-teaching brewery and tasting room will offer 360 views of all brewing activity. In the tasting room, guests will savor a sampling of seasonal and specialty beers produced by program faculty and students.
